Mia was a senior getting ready to leave high school and jump right into college. With her best friend Lydia at her side she was ready to face the world and anything that came along with it.

But when Lydia makes her realize that her boyfriend is a horrible person she is determined to have as much fun as she can while on the vacation her mom plans.

Everything is great there, she even met new people, made new friends, one who she really likes. Except she doesn't want to get attached because she knows that at the end of summer she will be heartbroken.

But no one, not even Lydia, can prepare her for the wreckage of her ex-boyfriend coming aboard. He claims he will change for her and will do anything to get her back.

Now Mia has to choose, to risk falling back in love with someone who might break her heart again. Or live her life and fall in love with someone who might not be there when summer is over.
