Everlasting Melody

A sweet melody that replays forever, deep in my bones and soul.

A song that never falters, never ceases to leave me, my actions, thoughts, and world revolve around this sweet little melody.

I met her in middle December, leaves had fallen and the ground was layered in a pure white, the sky a aseptic milky clouded color, and my heart as frozen as the fresh layer of ice over the pond nearby.

Her hair was the first thing I noticed, its soft pinky texture was hard to miss. Her leather jacket had a similar tint to it next to mine, those deep green eyes held something I could somehow relate to, and they were something I could never have.

But we all want what we can't get.
