Everybody has a monster inside of them, there is no way of running away from it.
This is the story of Kara, a strong girl, who REALLY has a monster inside of her. She tries to run away from it, from her past but fails miserably. There comes a time in everyone's life when you just can't run anymore and have to face your demons head on.
Imagine a world, in which the line dividing humans and monsters is broken and bent. Now, mix it up with a couple of incredible ninja moves, family bonds and a hint of love (this is after all a teen novel) and BUM! You get Black Tattoo!

I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
