Feeling a sudden chill go down her spine. She opens it reading "I'm behind you Katherine. Turn around" Slowly she turns and sees the red eyes once again. "Not again" She closes her eyes trying to make it go away somehow. Opening her eyes she still sees them. In fright she sprints off down the dark hallway. For a moment she thinks she safe but hears footsteps coming her way. Quickly she hides behind the trophy case. "Run Katherine. Run" She sprints through the halls trying to get away from the voice. Tears running down her face as she gets a metal taste in her mouth. Her cheek bleeding from biting the inside.

Who Knew?
Ryan's cheerful whistling echoes throughout the hallway as we emerge in the cafeteria and a small hush settles over everyone. Ryan grabs a tray and then leads us to a table in the corner of the room. Sunlight is streaming through the big glass doors and as I stare my mind begins to go blank, my breathing becoming nonexistent while Ryan and the new guard sit across from me talking quietly. I'm thrown back into my memories and before I can stop it fear is constricting my throat, screams bouncing off the walls around me. Running feet pounding against the floors. Shouts everywhere I turn. My heart beats faster and faster as it crawls up my throat, and I don't try to stop it. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete
Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

COMPLETED. A tear slides down my cheek and my assaulter stands upright again, sending me a smirk as he wipes the tear away. His canines are splattered with scarlet blood -my blood- and when I touch the place he bit me with my finger, it comes back covered in red. "I'll see you soon, Cami. You'll see, things will only be more exciting from here." He turns his back to me to walk away but suddenly stops, turning his head back to me. "Has your sister mentioned me at all?" My mouth falls open and no sound comes out so he just shakes his head with a laugh. "Ah... she likes to keep me a secret. Until the next, Camilla..." And with that, he is gone right before my eyes. It's as if the bubble pops because when I close my eyes and open them again, the halls are completely empty and I'm panting against the wall. I bring my hand to the bite on my neck. Nothing. I catch sight of a masked figure darting toward a narrow exit, and without a second thought, I sprint after him, pushing through the acrid haze of gunpowder. The hallway stretches before me like a black void, illuminated only by sporadic flickers of malfunctioning lights. Each step I take echoes ominously, my senses on high alert. The heavy thud of my footsteps seems unnaturally loud in the oppressive silence that surrounds me. As I advance, a cold chill grips my spine, and an unsettling premonition takes hold. My instincts scream at me to stop, but the figure is just ahead, a tantalizing promise of answers within reach. I turn a corner, and everything changes in an instant. Without warning, a searing pain explodes at the base of my skull. I stagger, my vision blurring, as my legs buckle. The hallway spins, a whirl of darkness closing in around me. And then, **Darkness.** In the void, I drift, unmoored and disoriented. The silence is deafening, punctuated only by the echoes of my racing thoughts. This could be it. I quickly start to look around the place before the torture starts. Every piece of information I can get stands out to me as my mind connects the pieces. Brianna also seems jumpy as she watches Raphael get up to look at the farthest door where the other passengers came from.
