20 years after the events of the Danganronpa Sea of Sorrow killing Gentaro, now the Vice Headmaster of HPA has organized the 8th annual trip to the Ultimates Museum Talent Showcase Competition .
This all goes aerie when he and the contest participants and three returning friends are locked away inside of the museum by another unknown psycho.
