Ben was everything she'd wanted since they were kids, chasing each other around the castles. However, when Audrey claimed him at the ripe age of 5, Ryder was forced to hide her affections. She settled for having a best friend in the boy she considered her first love. She hadn't thought of anyone else, until he joined her at Auradon Prep. Hazel Pan lived in a world where all the villains were banished to the Isle of the Lost, a dark and dreary place, cut off from the enchanting beauty and magic of Auradon. Among those banished villains were Captain Hook's son, Harry Hook. Harry was known for his roguish charm, his mischievous smile, and his father's notorious hook, which he wore as a symbol of his lineage. Hazel, with her heart full of compassion and justice, couldn't bear the thought of the children of the villains growing up in such a grim place just because of the sins of their parents. Thus, she decided to make a difference. Hazel wanted to help her friends, King Be, and future queen, Mal, of Auradon to allow the children of the villains to come to Auradon for a chance at a better life. It was Ben's wish and Hazel had the same views, it brought them as close as siblings. The first to step foot in Auradon were the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. They welcomed them with open arms and a warm smile, assuring them that they were not their parents and that they deserved the same chances as everyone else. In time, they started to believe and began to see the good in themselves that Hazel and Ben saw in them. Then plans changed and Hazel found herself in situations she'd never think to be in. The VK's had finally gotten their happily ever after. They were no longer being manipulated by their parents to be evil and cause trouble. They didn't even have to see them anymore. At least, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos didn't (unless you count Maleficent's lizard form). Hadee still had to face her father, Hades, every time she visited the Underworld, her home and her Queendom. Most of the time, he kept quiet when he's in her presence, never having any conversation with his daughter at all. Hadee wasn't complaining and accepted her father's silence gracefully. That was, until her father finally spoke. As a master manipulator, Hades managed to plant a certain idea into his daughter's head. An idea that would make Hadee do something she would later regret. Hadee didn't want to make Mal doubt the idea of belonging in Auradon, she refused when her father told her to do so, but when Mal admits to her that she misses being evil, Hadee convinces herself that maybe her father's idea wasn't that bad. For Mal's sake of course. But what will happen when Mal actually flees to the Isle and Hadee realizes her mistake when she sees Ben's heartbroken expression? Well, Hadee, Ben and the rest of the VK's go after her of course. Many things will happen on the Isle. Hadee might just slip back into old habits, one of them being her banter with a certain pirate that she loves to annoy. Once upon a time, in a kingdom known as Auradon, lived a young prince. He was one of the most kind and caring princes the kingdom ever had. He cared about everyone, even the ones no one thought were actually worth caring for. One day, the month before his coronation, he made his first proclamation. He wanted to give the children of the villains his father had abandoned to the isle of the lost, an equal chance in Auradon. And so he invited four villain kids to Auradon Prep. Mal, daughter of Maleficent; Jay, son of Jafar; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. Most people thought they would be just like their parents; evil, vicious and cruel. But Ben was convinced that even those who were raised to be villains had a good heart. And he wasn't wrong about that. It came with some struggles, but they found their place in Auradon too. After his coronation he decided that more kids had to come over, as the first four proved that they could live just like other Auradoniens in the kingdom, amongst the other citizens. He didn't really know them well personally, but only heard good stories about them and that was proof enough for him.
