After Max Fletcher's parents pass in an accident, Max is moved into the repurposed Northbrook Manor as an orphan. A lot of rumours were told about the manor being haunted but apart from that hardly anybody knows about it. Max finds it hard to fit in the orphanage, but something about the manor makes it hard for him to even sleep...
