He slowly started advancing towards him like a slow and determined panther towards his prey.

"Leave her now ",his voice  was serious.

"Fine fine",he said surrendering..
"But first,who are you to her?"

"First,let go of her hand"
He did as he was told. 

"Now?happy?"...

Derek took a small glance at me...

I was in on the condition of pinching myself when he said those words.

He smirked..

Derek turned towards me.

"Shall we baby?"

"Look Derek,you are too drunk to be in your senses.Just don't do anything reckless ",I said in a loud whisper.

But he just ignored me and pulled me towards him.His touch sent an unexplainable feeling down my spine. 

Our noses were almost touching.He looked down at my lips, and my heatbeat was so loud,that I feared he might be able to hear it.

He lowered his face,and I closed my eyes tight.

His breath fanned my neck.

Suddenly,he kissed me on the cheeks.
His kiss sent electricity  through my entire body,the warm sensation of his lips still on my cheeks.

For a second I thought he was going to kiss me on the lips. I shook my head laughing mentally at my foolishness.
I definitely had to stop reading so many romance novels.
