Hi, my name is Abby, Full name Abigail Smith, but please call me Abby. I just turned 17, and the vampires have decided to make themselves heard and known to the world. They seem to be taking over slowly, but it's becoming a problem, considering now we humans are classified as "pets". I am no pet, I have black hair piercings and watched my family get killed in a matter of 20 minutes by a man who wanted me for his "pet store" for the vampires. Vampires are horrible creatures, if you can even call them that. Or from what I heard, they are. Anyway, I have been in here since I was 7. Long time, if you ask me, and I have been tortured ever since. I don't take no for an answer. I've been in a holding cell for too long. I miss the sunlight, and I miss the cool air that I would have to breathe in while walking to school every morning. It's been 10 years, and it's been a very long 10 years. It's hard when no one cares about you and you're beaten because you're scared for your life. You don't know fear until you have this lifestyle. I just need to be saved by anyone.
Travis, that's my name. I lost my mother to human hunters. Never have I forgiven humans, even if they had nothing to do with it. They are devil creatures, and we thought we were bad. I have dark brown hair and sky blue eyes, which change to red when I feed, but no need to get into detail. They have no idea what their own kind has brought to themselves. As my father gets older, he's getting me more prepared to take his place on the throne. He's also demanding I find a wife. That I am not looking forward to. The book title came together with the help of my older brother who is quite good with titles while I am not great at figuring out book titles but am good at writing stories and chapter titles. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl. I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books.
