Hi, my name is Abby, Full name Abigail Smith, but please call me Abby. I just turned 17, and the vampires have decided to make themselves heard and known to the world. They seem to be taking over slowly, but it's becoming a problem, considering now we humans are classified as "pets". I am no pet, I have black hair piercings and watched my family get killed in a matter of 20 minutes by a man who wanted me for his "pet store" for the vampires. Vampires are horrible creatures, if you can even call them that. Or from what I heard, they are. Anyway, I have been in here since I was 7. Long time, if you ask me, and I have been tortured ever since. I don't take no for an answer. I've been in a holding cell for too long. I miss the sunlight, and I miss the cool air that I would have to breathe in while walking to school every morning. It's been 10 years, and it's been a very long 10 years. It's hard when no one cares about you and you're beaten because you're scared for your life. You don't know fear until you have this lifestyle. I just need to be saved by anyone.
Travis, that's my name. I lost my mother to human hunters. Never have I forgiven humans, even if they had nothing to do with it. They are devil creatures, and we thought we were bad. I have dark brown hair and sky blue eyes, which change to red when I feed, but no need to get into detail. They have no idea what their own kind has brought to themselves. The book title came together with the help of my older brother who is quite good with titles while I am not great at figuring out book titles but am good at writing stories and chapter titles.
