Caden Lockheart was scared of the dark. He was so scared that his own shadow scared him. He was often laid back and cool about it, others often wondered at times why he would jump a foot in the air but he didn't mention anything about it. Sometimes he was teased but he let it slip like always.
A new kid later transferred. There were whispers and talk of him being different and weird. Of coarse, Caden ignored it. The last thing he needed was attention. But soon things got to be too much for him and he had no choice but to tell. He surprised himself by talking to the new kid who was so mysterious and seemed out of place.
Going to a new school wasn't on his mind, but he needed a change of life and he was kind of stationed here. He was after something. And Caden happened to be who he was after. However he didn't want to scare his target off so he had to be careful.. could a powerful love ensue to scare away the fear?
