Mama isn't back yet. I'm scared, I want my mama. Those bad men came back but I stayed quiet just like mama told me to.
I brush my knotty hair away from my eyes and pull my blankie tighter around me. It doesn't reach around my toes anymore. Mama says one day she'll get me a new blankie, my blankie is brown.
It's so cold now and mama always kept me warm but I have my blankie. I want mama to hurry back, I miss her a lot. It's so cold in here.
