This is a story about seventeen year old, McKenna Harding. Once her mom takes a business trip to Africa, McKenna and her sister Bianca will have to stay the summer at their dads house in Florida. Because their dad is such a secretive person, not until they arrive do they find out that their dad has a stepson, Garner. McKenna stereotypes him at first but when an incident happens with her mother she then realizes he might not be the person she thought he was. Join McKenna on her journey of getting to know Garner and possibly falling in love with him.

I took a deep breath and spoke up. "No, I don't," I took a pause before continuing, "because I can't marry a blind person."
