It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. Everything. Frank; a depressed kid with problems no one could imagine. And a desire to die. Gerard; another depressed kid who doesn't want life anymore. 3:39 am. Gerard finds Frank passed out on the beach. 5:24 am. Frank wakes up in his room with no memory of two hours before. 6:12 am. Mikey, Gerard's brother, sits in his brother's room, talking about the boy Gerard found on the beach. 9:52 am. Gerard wonders about the boy on the beach. 10:43 am. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. They were murdered, they were attacked and now they're dead. That's all Frank knows about his parents - gone before he'd even had chance to miss them, and it was fucking with his head. The police reckoned that moving away, to rural New Jersey with his grandparents would help him cope with the loss, but even Frank knew that they couldn't be more than wrong, because despite the dull sleepy atmosphere of the town, there was something unidentifiable yet impossibly unnerving about the place, and really, perhaps was safer in his parents home than he ever was here. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him. And perhaps, he was. (Vampire!Gerard)

In his last year of school, he decides to take a risk and starts a school project in which he wants to find out why all of his teachers and classmates hate homosexual people so much. For his project "homophobia is gay" he interviews a few people but decides that this won't be enough. What if he could introduce one of them to his world and show them that it's not bad to be gay? And what if this person was Frank Iero, the guy who has a list of girls he slept with right under his mattress at home, and an abhorrence against the red-headed boy? *Warnings*: bad language, homophobia, smut, abuse
