He's bold. She's tender.

"You do know we're supposed to be working, correct?" I looked up at his tall physique, watching him as he watched me. He looked away after a brief staredown, his pale gray eyes looking at the book that was currently in my hands. I couldn't read him, he was just so subtle, and well put that even I couldn't figure out his motives.
"But yet, your mind is not on Sidis.." His voice was like velvet, full of bass and sexy. It actually scared me a bit. This is his first time actually communicating.
The corner of his mouth barely curled, but it was noticeable as he closed in on me. Breathing was suddenly getting difficult, just being so taken aback from his strong demeanor. His hand raised and moved my curls from my face, his light touch leaving a feverish trail behind.
"Let's get to work, shall we?"
I should have never called.

He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle.
