Trapped. Surrounded on all sides by an overpowering barrier visible only to you. A barrier consisting of your thoughts, your dreams, your hopes, separating you from the rest of the world. Thoughts struggling to escape, the memories vivid in your head. You're trying to push back the flood of emotion, trying to break down that wall that's separating you from the judgement that awaits you at the other side. Your fears captivate you and morph you into a new person entirely. Surrounded on all sides and breaking into cold perspiration. Enveloping you is that same fear, gripping at your heart. You stand still hoping for the storm to back down, hoping for another chance. Sooner or later you're faced with reality and you'll know there's no turning back. *COVER ART IS MY OWN ORIGINAL WORK* In this portfolio of short stories, I have 22 works, 63 pages, and 19,204 words. My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. I hope you enjoy reading these snapshots of the human experience as much as I did creating them.Concluida

To be completely honest, it's just a load of randomly plucked words from the air, infused together with some punctuation and their job is to represent the bunch of emotion I, - a tired, caffeine filled, late night worker- threw together in hopes that I would touch a passionate soul trapped inside a body with a thought-provoking mind and rapidly beating heart.
