This story takes off in Katniss and Peeta's POV, beginning where Peeta is strangling Katniss. It is basically Mockingjay with a twist. The twist? It's my version on how Mockingjay should have ended....because I think we're all a bit upset that a certain someone died. We all know how Katniss is feeling the majority of the story, so not only will this shine light in how Katniss is feeling, but how Peeta is feeling and coping with the hijacking of President Snow.

It's a different ending to Catching Fire. The dome at the top of the arena just exploded, and Katniss and Peeta have escaped. Or have they? This time, both Peeta and Katniss are trapped in the Capitol, and the star crossed lovers are put through a whole new level of hell. President Snow uses their relationship against them, district 13 tries to rescue them, and the rebellion still continues. What happens when the Mockingjay loses her wings? Does the rebellion still win, or are the Hunger Games here to stay?

This story is based on after Mockingjay. This story is all about the Epilogue. And we all know what happens in the Epilogue. This fanfic takes place 7 years after the War. Peeta and Katniss move on with their lives as a married couple. And so many unexpected things happen along the way. With all these events going on, will Peeta and Katniss get through them? Will they get their happy ending? WARNING: I wrote this story when I was 13 years old and it is very horribly written. He doesn't like what I am saying and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. "I know you want to make it back home to your family and I know that you are a part of my District, but I need to make it home to Prim!" I say, tears threatening to fall, I feel awful for what I am doing. Peeta looked extremely worried by this point. "What's wrong? What happened- " I cut him off " I'm... I'm... joining...the careers."
