Most of my life I have been hiding from everyone and everything. Without my best friend, though, I wouldn't have survived. One seemingly normal day, I come across a strange group of dragon riders. One, in particular, draws my attention. That can only mean trouble. This is a "How to train your dragon" fanfic taking place after the second film. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III has always been different, and the fact that he was born deaf just made things even worse. Unfortunately, turning sixteen brought even more changes to his life, like being removed as his dad's heir and arranged in marriage to none other than Ruffnut Thorston. At least he had made a new friend to help him through everything, though the village would brand him a traitor if they ever found out. As he becomes closer with his new dragon friend, he realizes that he can no longer stay on Berk. There's too much at risk and there's something out there, something that only he and Toothless can resolve. So he leaves, along with his new wife, to make peace for the dragons and save them from a tyrant. Years go by, and Berk has been left in the past...until they show up on the shores of the island they call home. What are they supposed to do now? A funny word called Love
I ship OtaYuri both romantically and platonically, and I don't really have a preference, but seeing as very few fanfics give importance to platonic love, I thought that I would write one that did. If there's one take away from Yuri on Ice, it's that love is a valuable and precious thing that takes place in many forms. This story is off of one of my headcanons that Yuri and Otabek are both asexual and aromantic, and their friendship goes from being very small to being a qpr (a queer/quasi platonic relationship, which is like dating, except without any romantic aspects, and in this case, without sexual aspects as well).
