Lying in wait, the World Tree watches over the land, growing weaker by the day. Giving a piece of its soul to an inhabitant below it makes a wish each time: help me right my wrongs, help me save the family I lost long ago.
Determined to keep her promise to the Tree, the Medium for this generation, a young girl named Lotus sets out to find answers. Even though the road is hard and perilous, filled with monster and those who might oppose her, she's going to stop at nothing to reach her goal.
They've waited for 500 years, and for the first time they have a chance.
