She goes to school getting bullied. Every time Lacey is feeling down, she goes and takes a nice and soothing walk in the nearby woods. Eventually, she meets someone, Malakai. At first she hates him with passion. After a while, she gets comfortable around Malakai and soon develops feelings for him. Malakai is a very mysterious person. He likes to be alone often. He also takes walks in the same woods as Lacey. At the end of Lacey's experience with Malakai, she finds out a deep, dark, hidden secret.
