She opened her eyes, watching intently as the heroes slowly crowded on the rooftop around her. The moon illuminated their serious masked faces and flashy suits, giving Neera the opportunity to figure out what powers they might possess. She kept her eyes halfway closed and studied them. Most of the suits were at least 75% black. One hero stuck out in her blue suit. It had no black on it. Neera was wary of the color of her suit. /How did I end up here?/ One of the heroes had surprised her with a lucky hit almost a minute ago. She had felt the impact and acted on it, diving to the ground. She had a better fighting chance against the six when they were caught off guard. Since the dawn of time, humanity has been divided over various subjects. All of which are frankly, incredibly trivial. This being, but is not limited to race, religion, beauty, size, wealth, politics, and more. The heavy amounts of bickering and debating over these subjects, going as far as starting wars and in-fighting within families, even breaking some apart. This is further proven by the sudden appearance of enhanced individuals nicknamed "Blights," which single-handedly explains the general consensus about them. Hated and oppressed, Blights have had their backs against the wall for decades. Teenager Liam Wang must learn how to juggle both his civilian life and the life of his super-powered, crime-fighting persona "Narukami" and all that comes with it. When it ends with their leader getting fatally injured, they must protect him from his father while also doing all his tasks. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero?
