Lieutenant Cira Vega wakes up, marooned on the wreckage of a once thriving military station, with no memory of who she is or what happened. What she does know is that she's not alone. Something alien is inside her body. Something that moves and thinks for itself. Maybe for them both. Without memories, she can't be certain that she is who her nameplate says she is. The borders of her personality are blurry.

Is she still herself, still a person, or a very sophisticated puppet? Whatever the answer, Cira won't surrender her humanity without a fight. She's determined to solve the mystery of what happened on Grenadier Station, why an alien intelligence attached itself to her, and what its true intentions are.

Half-organic, half-mechanical, and driven by vengeance... Beneath biomechanical upgrades and a titanium cranium built for destruction, Joaquin Herrera is a young veteran on a mission. Once an idealistic soldier, now scarred by war and betrayal, Joaquin wields his enhanced body-and his red eye of justice-in pursuit of the Ghost: the dishonorably discharged Army Colonel who masterminded Operation Ironhead, a black ops project that blurred the line between humanity and machine. Joaquin's office is a chaotic web of whiteboards and intel, pointing to the Ghost's nefarious schemes. But when he stirs up the wrong enemies, the voices in his head start whispering, and reality itself begins to fracture. The Ghost's plan is still alive. Joaquin won't stop until he shuts it down-for good. Meanwhile, Agent Martina Lessa is a brilliant but sidelined FBI investigator, buried in the farthest corner of her field office. Her career has stalled thanks to her Special Agent in Charge, but that doesn't stop her from pursuing the truth. BlueMoon, a powerful asset management firm, seems to profit from every disaster, while Black-Sun, a private military company, leaves a trail of destruction across the Americas and beyond. As political bombings and assassinations escalate, Martina begins to suspect an unholy alliance between the two entities. But her investigation takes a chilling turn when she crosses paths with a biomechanical vigilante-Joaquin-and realizes her theories are more horrifying than she imagined. Together, Joaquin and Martina must unravel a web of corruption, transhumanist horrors, and a conspiracy that threatens countless lives. As they grapple with ghosts-both figurative and literal-and confront their own demons, they'll have to decide whether they're driven by justice, vengeance, or something far darker. In this action-packed horror thriller, the line between humanity and monstrosity blurs. The cost of failure? The soul of a nation.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! [Book 2 of the ARC10 Trilogy] Rampant addictions, psychotic breakdowns, and threats of mutiny keep Commander Janika Lorn up all night. Transporting two-thousand souls safely from a destroyed Earth to a new habitat aboard the refugee ship ARC10 has been a special kind of hell - especially while also hiding her illegal pregnancy from her commanding officer. She wonders if they should turn around and take their chances in the crumbling underground bunker city they abandoned, even with the hostile invading aliens still patrolling the sky. She wonders if they're capable of surviving the rest of the journey. Because it seems like her troubles couldn't get any worse, and they've only been in space for three months. As usual, Commander Janika Lorn is wrong. When she finally hits an all-time low in the confines of an alien prison, a botched rescue operation puts her life in the black-gloved hands of Captain Shin-Hyun Moon of the HMS Valediction - a notorious vagrant and patchwork monster who was stitched together with the eclectic skins of the galaxy. Despite being instant enemies, Lorn and Moon are forced to work together to salvage their separate missions that have gone totally awry. HMS Valediction is the sequel to 2017 Watty winner ARC10, the second installation of the ARC10 trilogy. Cover art by the enormously talented @FayLane
