Revamping

If my tears and my strangled voice do not matter to anyone outside these four grey walls. If all they are going to do is make a fool out of me. If all they are going to give me is pain when they slice my lifeless body with their sharp criticism. If those bad boys assumed in their rat-sized brains that they can play with me. Well, then I might have to discard my innocence and conscience down the gutter. If all they want to do is make me bleed, then I might have to take their knives and carve out their beating hearts instead. I don't mind smearing their raw blood with my hands if it means to stop me from hurting and dying inside, everyday.
