(Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror.
