Two years ago, in freshman year, Noah Hadley had an incident.
Luna Khan is just a regular sixteen-year-old girl, trying to make it through high school like everyone else. Now in her senior year, she's all but forgotten Noah exists - save the wayward whisper in the halls every so often. But when they're forced to work together on a school project, Luna will do anything to get out of it.
It isn't that Noah is a nerd. Luna could deal with that. She's not an immature mean girl. It's that Noah Hadley is genuinely disturbed, and Luna really, really doesn't want to be the one to summon another breakdown.
At least it's just one physics lab. She'll make it out alive... right?
