Sinopsis:
El mundo está lleno de "cosas" misteriosas, pero la vida continúa pacíficamente dado que nadie puede verlas, excepto Misao Harada. Esta niña tiene el poder especial de ver esas "cosas", pero ella no se lo cuenta a nadie e intenta llevar una vida común como la de cualquier otra adolescente. Sin embargo, no puede evitar soñar con un chico que ella conoció años atrás, y que parece tener el mismo poder que ella... Lo cierto es que las cosas no pueden ocultarse por siempre, y el poder de Misao se revela cuando unos youkais (demonios) intentan devorarla. Allí regresa el chico de sus sueños, Kyo, para protegerla. Pero esto es solo el punto de partida de muchos follones, ya que Kyo también es un youkai. ¿Podrá él mantener su promesa de casarse con ella...?
