The king and his uncle (Creon) battle out their beliefs with swords in the river, ultimately losing their swords and proceed to battle with fish they have caught in the river, fighting iber the life of Queen Jocasta.

Caracalla sends his most trusted General, Marcus Acacius to Alexandria to fetch his bride. On the journey to the city of Rome, Cassia finds herself dreading her marriage to the Emperor and falling for the General.
