Akira has never had a normal life. Filled with darkness and mystery, fear and anger. Those around her, ever her so called parents detested her. Finally, her foster family found a way to be ride of Akira. Shipping her off to Grand-Line Academy. High electrified fences surround the campus, students form gangs, chasing after the title of strongest. The motto of the school is Eat or be Eaten. Akira needs to join a gang, and fast. But when you have the four hotshots trying to get you to join their gangs, it's a little more difficult then she imagined.

The first few days didn't turn out the way Akira planned. Who'd have thought Akira would be in fights and caught in the middle of gang wars? Not her, that's for sure. But now something even worse is coming.
Someone has been sent across the gate and into Hell and Akira is determined to get him back before it's too late. And of cause, nothing is easy for Akira. Family issuse, boys, and you know. Impending death.
What could go wrong?
