Chris, Alex, Dorian, and Sam have been raised in the Third Fleet along with thousands of children like them to form the next wave of soldiers to fight the Ercinee. The four of them have been training since the day they could walk to fight the enemy of the Empire and save mankind from extinction.
After the Ercinee destroyed their homeworld the entire remaining human population is bound to the stars, fighting for their survival against a seemingly endless army.
On the Third Fleet, the four become friends and decide to join the next war games as an independent faction to speed along their career in the military and finally get sent to the frontline and end the war once and for all.

Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet. No one knows what is going to happen when the spaceship lands on this foreign land.
