When reading about villains, you may have no remorse when they are killed or scorned for the rest of their lives. You just pin them as the culprit and move on with your daily lives. But have you ever heard their side of the story? No? I didn't think so. While some people may think that the witch is the culprit in the story of Hansel and Gretel, no one has ever heard her side of the story--the true side.
I wrote this for a creative writing project in middle school so I'm sorry for some of it, but it's still a fun short read!

Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. Everyone knows the story of Hansel and Gretel. They were two little kids who found a witch's candy house and were caught eating it. The two children almost got burned alive, but made it out by burning the witch instead and lived happily ever after. Well, this isn't that story. Hansel and Gretel did indeed find a witches house, were almost burned alive and killed a witch, but there was one very different addition to the story. Their little sister named Scarlet joined them on their adventure.Complete
The Truth Behind Rapunzel (Gothel)
No sooner have I stepped inside than someone speaks up, "Hand over your first born child, Gothel." I spin around to be faced with a mysterious pair of blue eyes and a wry smile. "Rumplestiltskin." I breathe, "I thought you went off to explore the world." "I did. Now I'm back. I will expect you to uphold your promise." He says, running a hand through his long, dark hair. "I made that promise when I was eight." I reply, thinking back. "I'm never going to get married and I'm never going to have children!" I declared decisively. "Really?" Rumplestiltskin inquired. "Yes. Boys are stupid." "Hey! That's not very nice." Rumplestiltskin whined, putting his hands on his hips. I stuck my tongue out. "Fine. Then if you are never going to get married, I suppose you won't mind agreeing to give me your first born child." He challenged. "Alright. Because it will NEVER happen!" "A promise is a promise." Rumplestiltskin says, "You must uphold your word." "For your information, this child isn't even mine." I respond. This takes Rumpelstiltskin by surprise. "She's not?" I explain what happened. "Well, she is a first born child, and now she's yours, so she IS your first born child." He decides.Complete

My favorite is not your typical female lead and male lead, no I love the villainess side of the story why she became like that, just to see is because the female lead was the true villainess all along, framing over and over the so-called true villainess. Only for her to be found out by the duke and would end up only having one choice of a man to marry, sometimes wouldn't even marry any cause they apologize to the so-called villainess and fall for her. I wish i was in a story like that. i would not mind being a side character, being able to dress in those wonderful dresses, seeing the castle, the city, and how it used to be. Having a simple job that can keep me up on my feet. But for it to be more of a fantasy world where beast-kin people live with humans. There is magic in the world too. It would be wonderful to live in such a world.
