Harper Faye Lucas is a 19 year old girl whose mother killed herself just to stay in their home. Her father had left his wife and daughter a few years before for some 25 year old woman that barely wore any clothes. Harper is practically an orphan- since her father is selfish enough to never visit or try to make contact with his daughter. All Harper needs to do now is ensure that she doesn't end up like her mother- and die to stay in the small town on the border of Canada. Liam Dean Grayson is a 20 year old guy whose father abused his mother. He had sent his mother away when he had known that his father was coming home drunk. His mother never bothered to contact him afterwards. Will his kind heart heal Harper's tainted one, or will it just make her worse?
