Blemish of Perfection

Liam Jamesson, on his fourteenth birthday, after receiving the generous charity of a nearby shop owner, is allowed by his orphanage to leave home and begin the long and arduous path of a Pokemon Trainer. As he travels, he learns in many ways how image and reality differ sharply, and bonds deeply with the Pokemon he chooses for his friends as he struggles to overcome his own estrangement from "normal" people.
