THESE ARE ADVENTURES OF BYOMKESH BAKSHI WHO DECLARED HIMSELF AS A SATYANWESHI; THE PERSON WHO IS IN SEARCH FOR TRUTH OR A INQUISITOR. Byomkesh Bakshi is a tall, fair man.  He always wears Calcutta's traditional dress which is "DHOTI AND KURTHA" he always has his sleeves folded up to his elbows, he always wears white dhoti and white kurta, sometimes he wears a "Bandi" over his kurtas.
    His mate Ajit Banerji babu was known for his works on the cases handled by Byomkesh Bakshi. His articles were sometimes published in the newspaper. Byomkesh Bakshi was a man of age 23 or 24, Byomkesh did not like to be called a detective, an investigator was even worse for him. his adventures started from Calcutta 1932 to 1970. When Byomkesh when seventeen years old, his parents died of TB. Later, Byomkesh passed University with a scholarship. During the Second World War, and after the independence of India, Byomkesh, Satyabati and Ajit live in the mess house of Harrison Road. Later, they decide to buy land in Keyatala in South Kolkata and shift to their new residence.All Rights Reserved
