Amelia Brooks, a Red Cross nurse aboard a ship traumatized and haunted by the war, was finally going home, but in the midst of it. Horrors come along, sacrifice, hope, home and a blond hair pilot who's eyes are as deep and blue as the ocean. "You saved me„ the pilot said with gratitude. "And you saved me." Through the waves, they battle the war together.
