She was born into a life of no lies, no colour, no individuality. All she's ever known was being a Syrus. She could never think of anything better to be.
Her life to her was perfect but soon the other side-the non believers decided to destroy her school with an emense bomb.
She survived and now to help the rest survive she has to become the very thing the almost destroyed her belief... a Newtown. Newtowns could lie, wear colour, have no respect but to her they where unruly. Uncontrollable evil people.
She had to lie, get a name and spy. Tell constant lies. She survived a bomb but will she survive breaking rules and acting like she was part of the wrong side. Will she be able to see them as evil for long? Or will she start seeing the good in freedom because of a boy... The very boy she thinks has something to do with the bomb.

You get good grades, deal with the bullying and attempt to forget the past. But there are things an everyday nerd, such as myself should clearly not do. One: Don't crush on the most popular girl in school. Two: Be sure not to get sidetracked in your studies by including yourself in electives and such. Three: Don't get superpowers. Now what to do when, possibly, you might have done all the following listed above? This wasn't like a test where I just knew the answer. So you can imagine how long it took me to come up with the realization of what I should become. Or in other words, who I should become! Maybe I shouldn't have been begging for a change because this is a bit much...

I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up.
