Fallen Stars (Male Reader X Furry Sci-Fi) [REWRITE IS OUT]
[Warning: This story is based on the works of Fluff-Kevlar. He's a furry artist that makes mostly NSFW drawings and comics, but also has made a sci-fi universe with a tumblr blog that explores its setting(Ask Ara Stuff). This story will take place on an A.U. of his 'Predators' series and his Sci-Fi setting.] Many millennia ago, Mankind died at the hand of its own creations. Their bloodthirsty machines now roam the ruins of their cities, and the descendants of their experiments now wander the ruins of their world. When a force from outside of Gaia makes their way into the works of one of the last humans to ever exist, they find something that will show the true reason for Humanity's extinction, and that will shatter their core beliefs. War for Change
Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards.
