What would Hiccup do?

This short story follows that idea, following the pair around. A strong bond starts to form, causing there to be some complications. The roles are switch round, Hiccup becomes a mother. Very temperamental villagers, overreacting Astrid.

Toothless was curled up, in a little ball, emerald green eyes staring wide at me, he was small, hatchling in size. Toothless took a deep sniff, before chirping happily, recognising my scent. Toothless tried to waddle over to me, but ended up with his chin on the floor, tail in the air, before falling onto his back, staring deeply at me. 

I should find this creepy, but Baby Toothless is just too cute!

The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.
