What if the high king of Skyrim was never really killed? What if his murder was a plot?

Skyrim is forever changed after Alduin's defeat. It seems to be a land of peace after the Imperials and Stormcloaks sign a treaty. But when the Dragonborn goes missing, a new threat is revealed-one the people of Tamriel have faced before.... In the midst of newfound chaos, the Thalmor are rising in power, and a secret resistance is too. Will the truth about the origin of the Civil War be revealed, or will Skyrim plunge into another? And in the dawn of this new age, who will stand against the darkness....

P.S. I'm not sure exactly where this is going, so be prepared for changes in the title, summary, etc.

P.P.S I'm a budding writer and would like this book and any that may follow to be top quality, so any constructive criticism would really be appreciated. :)

P.P.P.S. For fans of Skyrim and easter eggs, a little thinking about the words below can reveal sort of where I expect to go with this story.

(On hiatus) WARNING: Mature themes/scenes be present. My story is ONLY available on W A T T P A D, if you're reading this on ANY other website but here, then DO NOT READ IT BECAUSE IT IS A STOLEN COPY!!! This is a WIP, it's not quite finished, this note will be removed when story is complete!* Druthza is a simple Argonian from Black Marsh, her childhood spent learning all about her race's history, their relationships with the other races of Tamriel... and the Dovah. She had a somewhat unhealthy obsession surrounding the dragons, almost every waking moment she would study all she could on them, learning their language and dreaming of seeing a dragon for herself. But, there were no more dragons... or were there? After crossing the border into Skyrim from Cyrodiil, Druthza is captured alongside a few Stormcloaks and shipped off to Helgen, her fate destined to be sealed via the chopping block. Abruptly, her world is turned on its head as she was soon able to escape Helgen after Alduin, the World Eater himself, attacks the village, bringing it to its knees. Soon, Druthza is in for the journey of a lifetime as she quickly discovers who she really is: the Dragonborn, slayer of the World Eater, killer of dragons... but she can't bring herself to accept that job, she would never hurt a Dovah. Will Druthza fulfill her fate the way she desires? Or will the perils of being a Dragonborn take her life instead? ___________________________________ Copyright© 2025- You are NOT allowed, under any circumstances, to post this anywhere else without my express permission. The Dragonborn has been living a quiet life. After sorting out the business of the World-Eater returning, the Civil War, the College of Winterhold & all of that other stuff. Its been 4 years since that all happened, she been nothing but bored... very bored. 4 years of boredom... Ouch. But when she finds a man in Lakeview Manor using the name Loki. Will she be given something to do? Or is she just going to fail for once by making the wrong choice and watch everything she loves die in her hands? Skyrim crossover with Avengers.... And Thor gets beaten up by the Dovahkiin quite a bit too. How amusing. Hahaha. Slight Dragonborn/Someone, but Who? We'll find out soon. Also one of the things that could of happened to Alduin in Skyrim too. I do not own the Elder Scrolls (being games and the actual scrolls haha, get it?) And I do own Marvel Avengers either
