Can Repana, a tribal woman just seventeen-years- old, care for a dragon's egg? Repana has always been an outcast in her tribe: she is the only tribal to continue the worship of dragons. Her fellow tribe members ridicule her for her religion, claiming that the dragons abandoned them long ago, that not one dragon had appeared to rescue the tribals from the oppression of the aggressive Casprallos ... A dying mother dragon, shot from the sky and discovered by Repana, bestows upon the young tribal the task of raising one of her eggs. Repana, strong in her faith, unhesitantly promises to protect the egg - but she doesn't know that this is the exact egg that the Casprallo's king is scouring the land to find, an egg that will hatch a dragon far more powerful than any dragon alive ... Will Repana be able to raise it on her own? Will she be able to protect the egg from the dragon's enemies? *This is a free preview for my published novel! COVER ART IS BY ME Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. One could say that Jasmine has had a lot of character development. One worth writing a story about. It the perfect origin story for a powerful and memorable heroine, which was Jasmine's dream since she was tiny. Both her parents were dead, the world had been brought to its knees (again), and her friends were starting to give up on saving the world. Jasmine feels hopeless that she'll ever have a future worth living. Especially when Aconi rose up to her godly status, forcing those oppose her into exile and serfdom. But when she meets a dragonet who shows her faith and strength that there is possibility, Jasmine started to believe that maybe she can actually survive this. Maybe with enough dragons that really believe in a better future for all, they can finally overthrow the tyrannous queen that has Pyrrhia under her talons. But when things go wrong in the worst way possible, leaving her dangling by a thread, Jasmine must finally decide what she is destined to do: be the hero and risk it everyone she loves, or make a deal she will never forgive herself for? Join Jasmine on the final installment of the Last Day Series, where she will walk paths that hadn't been walked in millennia, dragons and ancestors that will guide her talons to victory, wherever they may go. Jasmine will face Aconi, and she will meet her destiny, whether she lives to see the next day or not.
