Lakeland, at only 16 found himself all alone and living on the streets in New York. Now at age 18 he has learned to survive out in the cold by pick pocketing and doing whatever it must take to get food in his stomach. On one very cold, snowy night he found his world completely turned around. Opening his eyes to the mystical world around him.

Jamar never expected to find his mate in a human. A straggly little one at that. Jamar is a werelion. Living in a pride but exploring the world to find his mate. At 24 years old he had gave up looking and started his own business in New York, a shop full of homemade trinkets and clothes and sorts. Now that he found his mate he has to decide whether to accept him or not... and then take him home to Africa to face his pride.
