The forces of nature are the only things protecting the planet earth from total darkness. But they can't do it alone. Four teenagers have a bond not even they know of. They can all shift into amazing creatures. They have amazing abilities. And they were born with it. They are chosen to protect the world from darkness. But they have to do it while still going through their freshman year in high school. Four social opposites, must come together to defeat the most powerful evil the world has ever known. But also go through the drama of an average teenager. Can they do it?

Angela and Jamie; two completely normal teenage girls. They are Seniors at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, they play sports, and have friends. All that normal, everyday, teenage stuff. But then night time rolls around. It's like a complete alteration within that short time between day and night. Jamie and Angela are no longer the good girls they seem to be. They throw on their black get-ups, grab their weapons, and head out with the rest of the Purple Dragons. Yeah, that's right. Purple Dragons. Their Uncle Fong raised these to girls to be nothing but cruel, ruthless thugs. And being Purple Dragons means you have to be deceptive and secretive; something both girls have mastered. They despise their Uncle Fong, as well as the way they are forced to go about their lives. They don't want to live the way their uncle does. Going Your Own Way, but with Magic
Being 16 sucks. Being 16 and running away after you burn down a library with flames you shoot from your hands, trying to carve out a place in the world for yourself while understanding this strange curse double sucks. Getting interrupted from figuring out magic completely on your own by an evil witch with plans to take over the world by doing *extremely* gross things to dead bodies triple sucks. Add in a pet mouse, a hot boy who shows up halfway through and amounts of emotional suppression never before known to mankind and you get a rough approximation of Max's life.Complete
