Teddy Lupin's life should be perfect. He has a loving family, a warm bed and food on his plate. Not only that, but Teddy is a wizard, attending Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry as a metamorphmagus. See? Things should be perfect.
...But they aren't. Orphaned as a baby, Teddy always felt like something was missing. Harry and Ginny had been the most welcoming family he could ask for but...somethings they couldn't give him--Revenge. It was perfectly fine to find someone looking at a corridor in wonder - it didn't seem peculiar for them to have seen that specific corridor for the first time. Teddy Lupin was one of the few students to claim they had seen most of the castle. Always eager to explore and learn about something new, Teddy would boast to those who were willing to listen that he knew the castle better than most. That's the case, until the day he finds himself in a corridor he hadn't seen in his seven years in the castle before. It is a dusty corridor, evidently not used in a long time, and believing he has discovered a part of the castle nobody but him knows, he looks around eagerly to discover its secrets. At least, that's the case until he reaches a door, half-concealed by a huge painting of a rose, and hears laughter from inside.
