Maneater

Nerina is a killer mermaid. She hunts with her close friends and like all mermaids, only kills men. She was also raised upon believing that men (especially human men) are evil beings and se believes it. One day she fight's with her mother about who would rule. Her mother says Nerina will, but Nerina thinks otherwise. That same day, she goes hunting with her friends. At first, everything is going perfect, but a boy with unnatural golden eyes watches her wariy. Then, when she attacks, something happens that blows her mind. She realizes that humans aren't the only creatures out there and that sometimes the hunter can become the hunted... but not this time. She sets out to find the boy with the golden eyes, trying to make herself believe that she didn't just go because she wanted to run from her problems, but sometimes, your problems run after you...
