Behind Those Eyes

Elizabeth and Cole have only one thing in common. She hates him just as much as he hates her. There was a time when they were best friends and inseparable. That is until two years ago, Cole comes back from his vacation in the Bahamas without his troubled family. They left him and seemed to have taken his soul with them. He talks to no one and avoids everyone, especially Elizabeth. Cold, mean, and aloof are the right words. Now they’re seniors and nothing has changed. Once she starts working at his uncle’s Café, her curiosity sparks. She’s not sure if she’s scared or intrigued, especially since it seems that the truth is too dark for her liking.
