Camilla Mendez has been blind for 12 years due to the brutal murder of her mother. Her rich New York socialite relatives wanted anything but a blind child to take care of, so on her seventeenth birthday Camilla moved out of her grandmother's mansion. Out out her own and closed off to the rest of the world Camilla enrolls in high school, expecting and almost demanding the ridicule, and she gets it, but not from the most likely source, Cam McCarthy.
Cam is a ladies man, changing women as often as he waxws his surf board, but he's taken with Camilla. Trying to get her to let her guard down and let him close to her heart proves difficult but not impossible for Cam, until one mistake tears them apart.

Years later Cam sees someone moving into Camilla's old house. The woman he meets is nothing like the frightened seventeen year old. Cool and beautiful she sparks his interest, but things get messy when someone from her past comes knocking on her door wanting revenge. And no one is safe.
