I know, I know, this fairy tale was told hundreth of times, each different than the other. But believe me when I say that this storie is far away from being a fairy tale like in a book.
Yes, it contains love and a change of heart but there are no spells, not even talking furniture. But I can promise there will be a lot of heart-warming and loveable scenes.

Everyone was invited, and everyone went. The time spent in the palace was grand. That was until one of the guests went missing. A young woman was escorted from the ballroom and was never seen again. Spring returned for a short time, and then winter crashed back down upon the land. And another ball was held. People were skeptical and did not want to attend, but they had no choice. Yet another guest went missing, another woman. The parties continued annually. Everyone in the kingdom was forced to go and every year, another person was escorted away. Most years it was a woman, one year it was a man. It has been six years since the beginning and winter is coming, after yet another short spring. It is time for another masquerade.

Annie finally gets the nerve to leave a bad relationship. With nothing but an old truck and camper, she starts driving to what she hopes is a new beginning. Somehow, she ends up in the cursed lands of Greyson. She finds she is trapped in a world where time stands still, and magic exist. At first it seems like a paradise. But like they say, when it seems too good to be true, most of the time it is. When there is a misunderstanding, the king accuses Annie of stealing and he kicks her out of the castle. Done with feeling rejected and alone, Annie decides it's time to find a way out. As she tries to find her way out, she starts to learn more about the curse and its people. She also starts to realize maybe the king is not as big of a monster as she thought. Even though most of Greyson is beautiful, something evil is lurking. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!Complete
