Jayvon had what every street nigga dreamed of-bad bitches, fast money, and a rep that carried weight. He ran Detroit like a king, his name ringing bells in every hood. The dope game had made him rich, stacking his pockets so deep that he could buy anything, anyone. Loyalty wasn't a question-his crew would kill and die for him without hesitation. He was untouchable. At least, that's what he thought. Then there was Cyn. College girl, trying to get her life on track, trying to shake off the past she ain't proud of. Life ain't never been smooth for her, but she was doing her best to move different. School, work, and keeping her circle small-that's all she wanted. Her best friend, Dream, though? She wasn't about that boring life. Every night was a move, every day a new story. Adventure was her addiction, and she wanted Cyn right there with her. Two different worlds. Two different mindsets. But fate don't care about differences. Jayvon wasn't looking for love, wasn't looking for anything serious. He had women at his feet, willing to do whatever he asked. But then Cyn showed up-untouched, uninterested, and unmoved by his name, his money, his power. And that? That made her a challenge. A prize he needed to claim. But Cyn wasn't dumb. She knew his type. Smooth talker. Heartbreaker. A walking red flag with a bankroll. She had no plans to be another one of his conquests. If anything, she'd be the one running the game. A kingpin used to taking whatever he wanted. A girl determined not to be another statistic. Who's really in control here? The hunter. Or the prey? Copyright © ( NOT EDITED )
