Pheonix is a normal girl... well as normal as you can be if you can fly and turn into a living fireball. She is one of the last of a rare species. They've been called many things over the year, witches, demons, gods... but now they're known as Protectors. Because that's what they do. Each Protector can manipulate an element. Pheonix is one of the rarest. She can control fire. But finally after centuries of peace the 'Old Ones' rise again. As Protector turns on Protector and brother fights brother will Phoenix hold true to her name and rise from the ashes? And will the world?

But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style.
