Calmly she raised her hand and the next thing he knew his cheek was stinging.
"Didn't expect that. Did you? Alpha" she spat.
Despite his supernatural ability, monsters were mortal and could be killed by will, his will and maybe just maybe... he won't get hurt whilst going through it. Maybe he seemed like a dick, he knew. But it was survival. For his survival or just the survival of his heart. He had to protect himself.
