Sam thinks she thinks too much. She thinks about a lot of things, her best friend Liam, the death of her school bully, the absence of her father, but she doesn't talk much. That's why the Bank Boy was so good for her. Every morning, Sam goes for a walk to the same place, on the bank of a river. She sits there for a good 2 hours, and thinks. One day, she spots a boy sitting on the other side of the bank. They don't talk to each other, but they're there for one another. It's the only thing Sam can depend on in her ever changing life. But will they ever meet? What will it be like? Can this boy save her from her mind? Can anyone?
