Blythe London has a perfect life: a perfect mom, perfect friends, perfect school, and extremely perfect grades. She's basically got it made in her life; how could she possibly move away from it all?
But move, she does. When her mother is recommended to go back to their old hometown of Crescent Beach, Florida, on a sort of 'recovery mission', Blythe has no other choice but to go with. She leaves the nice life of Memphis, Tennessee and off they go to a new home.
At Crescent Beach, Florida, Blythe has never felt so lost. Walking down the hallway of her high school, she traipses upon a fight, falls down the stairs, and is laughed at in class. From there, she makes enemies, new friends, and two unusual boys who unintentionally drag her into a something very, very, messy.
How could her life go from 'super perfect' to 'harshly imperfect' in such a short amount of time?
Ella is falling apart trying to live a "perfect" high school life. Then she meets Ren, who can see past her scars. Suddenly perfection isn't her only option.
